SPORE - Crocoscale Length: 0:46
Description: It's long, bony fingers are perfect for catching the fish that make up the core of it's diet. A social creature, large groups of crocoscale can often be seen sunbathing on the beaches of large bodies of fresh water, or lurking just beneath the surface.
Despite it's affinity towards water, the crocoscale is not entirely reliant on it. A rare spectacle indeed would be to see a pack of the beasts moving to attack small to medium-sized land-based prey.
The bumpy growths on it's back and it's dark green coloration make for good camouflage. In the water especially, it tends to resemble a mossy log. The scythes on it's tail are used for defense, or aid in taking out land-prey.
